Here’s a guide to catching some of the toughest Pokémon in Pokémon Go:

How to Catch Those Tricky Pokémon in Pokémon Go

Let’s be real – some Pokémon are just harder to catch than others in Pokémon Go. I’m talking about those pesky ones that bust out of Poké Balls and eat Razz Berries like candy. Well, this guide’s got some tips to help catch even the trickiest creature.

First up, you gotta stock up on supplies. Load up on Great Balls, Ultra Balls, and Razz Berries. The better the Poké Ball, the better chance it won’t burst out. And Razz Berries make ‘em chill out a bit so they don’t swat your Ball away as much.

Next, you gotta have patience. Some Pokémon can take multiple throws to catch. Don’t sweat it if they break free at first – just keep lobbing Balls. Curveballs give you a higher catch rate too, so practice those spins.

For real stubborn Pokémon, use the circle lock technique. Hold the Poké Ball and wait for the circle to shrink. Once it’s small, hold it in place – don’t throw! Wait for the circle to lock, then lob the Ball when you’re ready. This ups your chances of a great or excellent throw.

Some good Pokémon to practice these tips on are:

  1. Abra – this teleporting fool pops out fast
  2. Gastly – hard to even hit this gassy ghost
  3. Yanma – quick little bugger that loves to fly away
  4. Murkrow – feisty bird that dodges balls
  5. Gible – ground shark that hates being caught
  6. Dratini – cute but loves to smash out of balls
  7. Feebas – this fish flops all over the place
  8. Aerodactyl – ancient dino that busts out a lot
  9. Lapras – gentle sea creature…not when catching!
  10. Snorlax – big sleepy guy doesn’t like being disturbed
